Local artisans present a vibrant array of merchandise.

Discover the vibrant heartbeat of local craftsmanship at the Community Craft Centre. Here, a consortium of skilled artisans unveils a mesmerising tapestry of merchandise, each piece resonating with the rich cultural legacy of Mpumalanga.

Honouring the region's artisanal heritage, the Graskop Gorge Lift Company seamlessly integrated 14 seasoned traders into their visionary development plans. Formerly operating from modest roadside setups, these artisans now flourish within a purpose-built, sophisticated trading space.

Beyond providing shelter from the elements, the directors of the Graskop Gorge Lift Co. have championed skills enhancement and product diversification for these artisans. The result is a curated collection at the Community Craft Centre that transcends ordinary souvenirs, offering an authentic glimpse into African artistry.

From intricately crafted wire and wood sculptures to meticulously woven baskets and hand-shaped pottery, each piece reflects the unique stories and traditions of local artists. The Centre is a kaleidoscope of colour, with vibrant tablecloths, scarves, bags, and bracelets adorning its shelves.

Whether seeking a small keepsake or a statement artwork, patrons are invited to explore the treasure trove of offerings, where every purchase becomes a celebration of craftsmanship and community.
